  • Day 1: HCMC Arrival (D)
  • Day 2: HCMC – Bien Hoa – Cu Chi tunnel (B, L, D)
  • Day 3: HCMC – Can Tho (B, L, D)
  • Day 4: Can Tho (B, L, D)
  • Day 5: Can Tho – Rach Gia – Ha Tien (B, L, D)
  • Day 6: Rach Gia – Vinh Long (B, L, D)
  • Day 7: Vinh Long – Tien Giang (B, L, D)
  • Day 8: HCMC departure (B)

Detailed Itinerary:

Day 1: HCMC Arrival (D)

boat on Mekong River VietnamTransfer from Tan Son Nhat Airport in HCMC. City tour of HCMC (Saigon) including the Reunification Conference Hall (formerly the South Vietnamese Presidential Palace), US Embassy grounds and the War Remnants Museum. Overnight in HCMC.

Day 2: HCMC – Bien Hoa – Cu Chi tunnel (B, L, D)

Morning drive to visit Thu Duc and Bien Hoa, afternoon visit the underground tunnels of Cu Chi, a dinner on cruise on Saigon River. Overnight in HCMC.

Day 3: HCMC – Can Tho (B, L, D)

Drive southwards to Can Tho with stop over at Sa Dec to explore the cajuput marsh of Xeo Quit. Overnight in Can Tho.

Day 4: Can Tho (B, L, D)

Explore Can Tho and the areas surrounding including Phung Hiep floating market. Overnight in Can Tho.

Day 5: Can Tho – Rach Gia – Ha Tien (B, L, D)

Travel west to the town of Rach Gia, visit Rach Gia and Ha Tien. Overnight in Rach Gia.

Day 6: Rach Gia – Vinh Long (B, L, D)

Full day excursion to Vinh Long. Overnight in Vinh Long.

Dennis Veteran Tour VietnamDay 7: Vinh Long – Tien Giang (B, L, D)

Morning boat trip to Cai Be floating market followed by road trip to Dong Tam snake farm and former base. Return to HCMC with stop over at Ap Bac, located in the Plain of Reeds. Overnight in HCMC.

Day 8: HCMC departure (B)

Transfer to airport for departure.
