Veteran Tour to Con Dao Island 6 days Con Dao used to be a prison in Vietnam's revolutionary wars against the French and Americans and now it becomes a green resort. Con Dao Island now is a paradise for nature lovers and beauty seekers, as well as honeymooners. After an hour’s AN-38 flight, visitors will find themselves among wild sandy beaches, virgin forests and a vivid underwater world. The atmosphere is extremely peaceful and tranquil and visitors can roam through deserted roads hidden beneath the fresh shady vaults of old arjuns and enjoy outdoor dinners under the stars.

Detailed Itinerary:

Day 1: Arrive Ho Chi Minh City (D)

Arrival at Tan Son nhat Airport - Transfer to hotel - General city tour. Evening: Boat cruise on HCMC river and enjoy folk show at Binh Quoi village.

Con dao islandDay 2: Ho Chi Minh City - Vung Tau (B, L, D)

After breakfast, we transfer to Vung Tau, a famous seaside resort, 125 kms far from HCM City, with different beaches. Tourists will have some exciting activities such as: sunbathing and visiting some interesting Buddhist pagodas and the huge figure of Jesus blessing the South China sea. Dinner and Overnight in Vung Tau.

Day 3: Vung Tau - Con Dao island (B, L, D)

Con daoAfter breakfast, take a flight to Con Dao and check in hotel in Con Dao. Lunch. Visit to Con Dao Museum, Phu Hai prison, notorious prison tiger cages, Hang Duong cemetery. Swimming in Dat Doc beach with wonderful landscape. Dinner. Overnight in Con Dao.

Day 4: Con Dao island (B, L, D)

Have full day boat trip on Bay Canh island, the second largest island in Con Dao. Tourists can join in some exciting activities: trekking, snorkeling and sea-bathing. Overnight in Con Dao

Day 5: Con Dao island - HCMC (B, L, D)

Con DaoAt leisure until transfer to the airport for flight back to HCMC, spend the rest of the day touring center of HCMC with visit to the Opera House, Notre-Dame Cathedral, the French-style Post office and the Reunification Palace, end the day with a visit to Vinh Nghiem Pagoda.

Day 6: Departure (B)

At leisure until transferring to the airport for departure
