The Mekong Delta, or the 'Nine Dragon River Delta', is a vast region in Southeast Vietnam. This is where the Mekong River appoaches and enters in to the sea through its network of tributaries. Encompassing a large portion of Southeastern Vietnam of 39,000 km2, the Mekong Delta region is richly abundant with water, fruit orchards an most importantly, rice fields. It produces about half of the total of Vietnam's agricultural output and is the place where you can best experience the timeless sceneries of farmers planting and harversting rice.

Brief Itinerary:

Day 1: Arrival Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam
Day 2: Saigon- Cai be - Chau Doc (Lunch, Dinner)
Day 3: Chau Doc-Cantho- Binh Thuy ancient house ( Breakfast, Dinner)
Day 4: Can Tho- Cai Rang floating market- Saigon (Breakfast, Lunch)
Day 4: Hochiminh Departure (Breakfast).

Detailed Itinerary:

Day 1: Arrival Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam

On arrival at Tan Son Nhat International Airport, you will be met and transferred to your hotel. Overnight in Ho Chi Minh

Day 2: Saigon- Can Tho city(Lunch, Dinner)

07.30 am: Our tour Guide & driver pick client up at your place in Saigon, then take an excursion to Caibe, one of quiet towns in Mekong Delta area.

09.30: Arrive to Caibe, embarking on our luxury Mekong sampan with fresh cottong towels to visit the morning CaiBe colourful floating market cruising among local barges full fruits and vegatables. Then, an optional stop can be made at local workshops where you can see rices paste, coconut candy and pop-rice, po-corn made.

A delicious lunch will be served at an ancient house over 170 years old or under the shade of local orchards on the An Binh Island. After lunch, the rowing boat will take you deeper into the countryside on smaller canals and to enjoy the peaceful time. It is so interesting to see traditional houses made of wood and palm tree leaves and see some activities of the local farmers with an apportunity to make contacts with them and see how they catch fish or pick up fruits by ancestral ways in Mekong Delta.

One more stop can be made the nursery garden where you can learn how to have some high quality fruit trees. This is the best choice for you to contact the real famous farmers- Mr Tiger& his son who are very sucessful in Vietnam agriculture. We will enjoy some kinds of fruits from his garden & home made rice wine when lishtening to the traditionall music. The cruise will end at around 14.30 pm at Vinh Long town. Then get on vehicle to continuing your trip to Chau Doc, one of quite cities in Mekong Delta area. Check- in the hotel on arrival. Having dinner at restaurant. O/N at hotel in Chau Doc.

Day 3: Chau Doc- Can Tho- Binh Thuy Ancient house( Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner)

Breakfast at hotel. Then transfer to visit Tra Su Cajeput forest in Tinh Bien district, located 15 km northeast of the Mekong riverand 10 km northwest of the Cambodia border.

We will take a sampan "Vo lai" to small canals to visit the forest, you have chance to see many kinds of water birds( mostly stocks), conlonies of bads and various rare anmal and bird species.

Endowed with peace and tranquility, Tra Su forest will certainly become a unique and attractive destination for the tourists who love the beauty of nature. Finish trip, then continue your journey to Can Tho city. Stop- over for visiting the Binh Thuy ancient bouse in Can Tho. Check- in homestay on late afternoon. Take a rest enjoy dinner at homestay. O/N in Can Tho.

Day 4: Can Tho- Cai Rang floating market- Sai gon (Breakfast, Lunch)

Breakfast at hotel. Then transfer to the pier for taking the boat ride on Mekong river which is the longest and most prosperous in Asia, visit the famous floating market Cai Rang, where you can see the daily life and local people selling their products on boats. Then cruising to small cannels to visit one of the local family and their orchard, taste tropical fruies, green tea. Finish trip and get on vehicle for returning to Saigon. Having lunch in Mytho province. After then continue route to Saigon. Drop off in Saigon

Day 5: Ho Chi Minh Departure

A good opportunity to do some last minute shopping before your transfer to Tan Son Nhat International Airport for your on going flight.
