More foreigners make Saigon their travel destination of choice

The US is still the largest source market, followed by Japan, Taiwan, Korea, Australia and France, according to the city’s Tourism Department.

Five-star hotels in the city including the Sheraton Saigon, New World Hotel Saigon, and the Caravelle Hotel have reported good business with room occupancy rates running around the 75 to 85 percent mark, well above low season last year.
