Southern tourism hub to build $900 mln resort

Two local companies plan to invest US$900 million to build a deluxe tourist resort in the southern coastal Ba Ria-Vung Tau province’s Dat Do district, the provincial tourism office has announced.

The Thanh Long Tourism Ltd. Co. and the Viet Thang-Jean Ltd. Co. are waiting for a license for the largest-ever domestic tourism project in Vietnam.
The 120ha SEADRAGON HILL resort, to start construction early 2007 and be completed in five years will consist of a number of five-star hotels and villas.
It will also include shops, restaurants, a casino, an entertainment center, and other facilities.
